I have been using this software for several weeks now. As previous reviewers have pointed out it`s not the easiest software to set up, but once there works fine. However, as a previous reviewr has pointed out there is a bug which efectively prohibits manual editing of data, for spikes etc.As the review is nearly a year old I`m suprised the problem has not been sorted. However I found the adjusting tool for splits etc worked fine. Agrevating the above, but not the fault of the program, is the large number of errors in data provided by the various Yahoo sites. If accurate data is critical for you look for a different provider.

Maintain an EOD database, but won`t do intraday DB updates

The software adequately handles standard downloads although it is more complicated to setup than other programs. It also lacks the

ability to fully manage data files and folders as, for example, Metastock`s Downloader (probably the best Metastock downloader).

The main problem, however, is that MLDownloader has a major bug which prohibits manual editing of data (e.g., insert or delete a line of data in a data file or correct a data field). Going through the editing process completely changes the formatting of the data file which makes it unreadable by the charting or analysis program being used. Even if the editing function did work properly it is a clumsy procedure that needs upgrading.

So, if you do not expect to ever need editing capability it is OK (not great) but worthless if editing functionality is needed.

An excellent product worth buying, except I can`t figure out why SuperCharts 4 won`t display Friday 11/21/08 no matter what I try. I suspect it`s SuperCharts, because MLdownlaoder shows the data.

MLdownloader brought right up on my SuperCharts by far the easiest, fastest, reasonably priced software, couple this with futuresdownloader

Bleach! This software does not work as promised. Simply refuse to start and ask immediatly to pay the cash.
